National Garden Week

North Myrtle Beach will be showing off its green thumb this summer: Mayor Marilyn Hatley has declared June 5 – 11 “National Garden Week.”

The week will be sponsored by several local garden clubs, and is one of many held around the country during this season.  The groups, which include the Yaupon Garden Club, Driftwood Garden Club and Sea Oats Garden Club, will likely host various events and provide useful resources to the community. All of the clubs are affiliated with National Garden Clubs, Inc.
