Free Movie in McLean Park

This Friday, June 10,  the North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation Department will kick off its free movies series with a showing of "Megamind" in McLean Park. The movie is rated PG and will begin 15 minutes after sunset, or approximately 8:45 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and beach chairs, and the North Strand Optimist Club will be providing popcorn and drinks. Enjoy the show!

National Marina Day

Harbourgate Marina in North Myrtle Beach will be celebrating National Marina Day June 11.

The event, which is part of an annual day of observance, will feature a wine tasting sponsored by Grapefull Sisters Vineyard. Other activities include fishing seminars and Sea Thunder Rides; there will also be free drinks and hot dogs available. For more information, call Susie Watson at 843-249-8888.
